Why Is It So Daunting?

Write a page an hour, eight hours a day, for 12 weeks -- not counting weekends -- and you've written a whopping 480-page draft.

A page an hour.

A page an hour is about five words per minute.

Couldn't get a job typing five words per minute -- but could write The Great Doctrine.

More proof that the brain's just a gooey ball of static smarts.

Brief Editorial

Who was the genius who thought the new "Napster 4.0" would a) cut into iTunes market share, and b) appeal to a consumer base already ADD'ing out of our minds even at cable speeds? Napster 4.0 is slow, it's ugly, and it's unfriendly. If Napster wanted to make themselves extinct (again), they've proven it by so eerily mimicking dinosaurs.
