To the right is a sad man sitting alone in a train car as the train sits in place, day after day.
To the left is a glittering stretch where a road used to be, but the planet's rains had grander ideas. Where SUVs used to speed now fish play, ducks cavort, even a signet can be seen spreading its wings, wildlife in the wild.
To the right, the man sits in gloom, the train car sits, and across the glittering new lake's surface, gloom touches only the Man.
